Please join us at Barkling Legs Theater (1307 Dodds Avenue) on Friday, June 19th at 6pm. There will be a free showing of the documentary about the unique connection between Accra, Ghana and Chattanooga, TN. This is the fourth in the series, and they have all been wonderful.
This documentary highlights the cultural connections and relationship-building efforts between Chattanooga and Accra, Ghana, and serves as a powerful reflection on heritage, identity, and international friendship. Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about the making of the documentary, and the impact of the Sister Cities partnership.
In addition, guests will enjoy African cuisine prepared by local residents of African descent, creating an authentic cultural experience that celebrates both our shared history and our future collaborations.
